“What Can Architects Do in the Future of Japan?” Lecture

Conducted in Japanese with Thai translation

Masashi Sogabe is an architect, professor at Kanagawa University, and exhibition
space director of “Always Prepare: Living with Changes”. In this lecture,
he will introduce his recent experimental architecture which were inspired by
the social transition taking place in Japan after the catastrophic March 2011
earthquake, and discuss the role of architect in the country whose population
has been rapidly decreasing and further economic growth cannot be expected.
