“Cover Under Cover” is a retrospective exhibition of selected book cover artwork by Spanish designers in the last decade. Book cover art in Spain, is preceded by a long and rich tradition in both design and literature. This combination has generated a profusion of creative designers devoted to the challenging task of packaging words, which, as it is often said, are worth a thousand per image.

Witty, humorous, shocking or even puzzling, these works of passionate Spanish designers strive to bridge the gap between mind and eye and capture the essence of a million words in a single snapshot.

As part of the exhibition, a Book Cover Design Contest for The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha has been organised to raise awareness about design and promote Spanish culture in Thailand

This exhibition is jointly organized by the Embassy of Spain, the Bangkok Design Festival, OpalWorks Studio, art4d and Thailand Creative & Design Center.
