"Re-imagining the City"

(Audio-Visual Project)
When 26-28 January 2008 | 00:00
Where Auditorium, TCDC

This will be the century of the city – nowhere more so than in East Asia where hundreds of millions of people now live in high density urban communities. Artists, architects and designers will play a significant role in shaping the quality of life in our cities. The UK and countries throughout East Asia have much to gain from sharing skills, ideas, resources and networks between these people.

Re-imagining the City

Re-imagining the City is an audio-visual project which explores how artists are both influenced by, and can help shape, cities, through the use of digital and other emergent technologies. It aims to give artists a voice in how cities are planned and experienced and will address issues of creativity, community and connectivity, identity, planning and sustainability.
