|Announcement of 50 candidates for the Value Creation Through Creative Ideas Project 2012 Workshop|
The Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC) in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIP) is launching the “Value Creation Through Creative Ideas Project 2012”, in response to positive feedback from the previous two successful projects. The purpose of this project is to boost and raise awareness among Thai entrepreneurs of the importance of design; how it can help create value and increase profit.
Seeing that continuous training and development for thinkers, designers and entrepreneurs is one significant factor that could lead Thailand to creative economy, therefore, TCDC and DIP have collaborated to host this project again as another step of Thai business into the core of Creative Design for Creative Economic.
Focusing on 4 industries: recycled product, toy, healthy food and souvenir, the seminar will offer a series of lectures and workshops on business and service creative development by experts from each field. Continuing the objective of enabling entrepreneurs to use creativity and design to enhance the quality and value of their products, the 2012 seminar also emphasises on the current global warming issue and sustainable conservation of nature.
Group 1 Recycled Product
Severe natural disasters happening all around the world have urged people to become more concerned and aware of natural resource usage. Recycle trend has gained attention of modern generation and become part of their daily life. Not only could saving natural resources improve our life and environment quality, it could also create business opportunity.
Group 2: Toy
A combination of delicate skill, cultural knowledge and international demand will help creating better, outstanding toy.
Group 3 Healthy Food
Today consumers care more of what they eat and their health. To raise quality and improvement for healthy food industry, the seminar will focus on raw material, manufacturing process and packaging.
Group 4: Gift Shop
Hand made craft is one of Thailand’s famous exports. This delicate skills combined with certain adjustment to better meet modern customer’s demand can help this industry realize its growth potential.
1st section: 100 entrepreneurs propose their development ideas for the workshop
2nd section:50 selected candidates attend the workshop with advisors and marketing experts in each industry. All attendees will get an opportunity to join Business Check-up, sell their products at TCDC Shop, present their products to CP ALL, The Mall, The Emporium or join the Ploy Saeng festival.
