MOU Thai-Japanese creative business potential support project between TCDC and Knowledge Capital

Expand Thai-Japanese creative industry network to extend creative entrepreneur potential.

Knowledge Capital and TCDC hosted the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of “Thai-Japanese Creative Business Potential Support Project”, with Dr. Hideo Miyahara, Chief Executive of Knowledge Capital Association, and Mr. Apisit Laistrooglai, TCDC managing director as the chairpersons of the ceremony on 7 March, 2016, 10.30 pm, at Knowledge Capital, Osaka, Japan.

Foreseeing the importance and opportunity for creative entrepreneur’s potential extension, relation development and expansion of creative industry between two countries, after the MOU, the three-year collaboration plan meeting was held, resulted into many projects in the future. 

Subsequently, from 2.00 – 4.00 am, Deputy Prime Minister, Air Chief Marshal Prajin Juntong and entourage paid the visit to the executive team of Knowledge Capital to congratulate on the collaboration between Knowledge Capital and TCDC in exchanging knowledge and providing an opportunity for creative and entrepreneur in Japan and Thailand; and visited Knowledge Capital’s office and service area.    

General information of Knowledge Capital
Knowledge Capital is a knowledge creation center, opened in 2013 as a key support unit for Grand Front Osaka Tower project, a project renovating formal JR train station area into a shopping complex. The concept is to make Osaka a center of knowledge creation to support new business that will help boost Kasai region’s economy in the future.

Knowledge Capital’s target is everyone, from businesspeople, researchers, creators and general public to create opportunity of meeting and exchanging knowledge to one another. With the belief that different knowledge and skills is crucial in creating new innovation, Knowledge Capital serves as an intermediary in create an opportunity for different type of people to meet up and providing working facilities, such as, large and small office area, showroom, laboratory, exhibition area, coffee shop and etc.

Knowledge Capital is created with the support from many sectors, both public and various field of private sectors, including social service, economic, academic and science and technology division, under the administration of KNOWLEDGE CAPITAL Association and KMO Corporation.
