There have been attempts to make use of agricultural wastes in Thailand for many years. Especially in recent years when global warming issue or, to put it better, sustainability has become one of our main concerns. What would be better than utilizing your own wastes in one of the biggest industries in this country, Agriculture?

The Development of Agricultural Material Utilization (DAMU) Project is one of the attempts. It is also meant to create the awareness of how good and innovative products can be achieved through the collaboration of designers, researchers and entrepreneurs.

In the talk, there will be a discussion on Yothaka’s newest experiment as a case study along with a discussion between Thailand’s leading organization in research, entrepreneurs and designers.

Audiences will learn how to be creative in using agricultural materials? How to have a successful collaboration? What do they think of the others and the idea of working together? How to find and make the best use out of research? And most importantly, how to turn the bright ideas into creative and commercially successful products?
