“Green Clothing: U.S. Fashion Trends” Lecture

Eco-design doesn’t stop at architectural or industrial design, but has become the latest trend in fashion industry. Carrie Parry, designer and owner of CARRIEPARRY.COM, has integrated green concept into her upscale clothing brand, an innovative idea that has gained recognition in fashion design industry, as well as inspired emerging fashion designers worldwide. 

TCDC Chiang Mai, in collaboration with the Embassy of the United States, Bangkok and Consulate General of the United States, Chiang Mai hosted the lecture “Green Clothing: U.S. Fashion Trends” to share the insight of eco-friendly process in fashion design, the US market trends, eco branding and brand development for the SMEs. The green clothing concept will add more value to your products and also reduce environmental impact, in line with modern consumer needs.

About the speaker
Carrie Parry, fashion designer and owner of CARRIEPARRY.COM, received a BA in fashion design from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. She started her career with famous brands such as Marc by Marc Jacobs, Jonathan Saunders, Zandra Rhodes and Elaine Gold. In 2011, she established the green clothing brand after her name “CARRIE PARRY” and has won many awards: 2012 Eileen Fisher Women Business Grant Award, Green Fashion Competition in Amsterdam Fashion Week, 2011 Innovation U.S.A. Award in Ethical Fashion Forum, etc.

3. On-site registration opens one hour before the scheduled start time. For those who have made advance reservation, please register to confirm your seat at least 30 minutes before the event starts.
4. Parking for TCDC Chiang Mai: spaces are limited in TCDC Chiang Mai. Parking fee in the nearby area costs around 20 Baht per day.
