The place to inspire and set the pace and tone of creative thinking in Thai society We build awareness on value of design to Thai people through wide range of activities and services; exhibitions, lectures workshops, online and paper resources for research and development in design context. We engage our audiences with educational as well as entertaining activities to ensure that these experiences would stimulate people’s thirst to learn and think imaginatively.

Business Development

TCDC delivers activities and services to foster and develop potential entrepreneurs under design thinking process. Through assembling the experts from many different fields, both domestically and internationally, initiation and growth of businesses in both the production and service sectors will creatively be propelled, leading to the transformation of concepts into concrete innovation both for business and for quality of life development.

Multi-disciplinary Learning

Building a playground for learning, furthering professional skills
To create space for different types knowledge sharing such as working, reading, and utilizing multimedia, TCDC houses resources of over 50,000 items along with an insightful database in the global market trends and statistics, and shares valuable knowledge through a number of year-round activities including exhibitions, seminars, workshops, lectures and inspirational forums for experience sharing.

TCDC develops activities and databases of network of creative professionals from different industries in order to open up an opportunity for cooperation, business partnership, and innovation creation that benefits the country’s economic and social development.   

Creative District

Developing the creative district, growing together
TCDC is strongly determined to develop Charoenkrung to grow as a creative district on the basis of co-creation development, which will bring policy suggestions and activity plans in accord with the physical space of Charoenkrung and in turn meet the demands of the locals.

Regional Access

Expanding access to knowledge for regional creativity
TCDC creatively searches for new methods to open up new channels for regional knowledge access. Currently our regional centers include TCDC Chiang Mai, TCDC Khon Khaen, miniTCDC Center housed at 35 educational institutions nationwide, and TCDC COMMONS, a Communication Design Library at IDEO Q Chula-Samyan in partnership with Ananda Development Limited (Public Company)

TCDC Chiang Mai

TCDC Chiang Mai is the first center for design know-how and a hothouse of creative thinking in the country’s upper north. Our first regional design resource center offers the same full slate of services available to users in Bangkok. Continuing to expand opportunities for learning about design, TCDC reaches out to entrepreneurs, designers, students, people in Chiang Mai and the upper north and offering them the knowledge and tools to turn original, innovative ideas into real economic returns. Our approach is focused on wedding Thailand’s intellectual assets, its rich cultural heritage, and the latest technologies to create distinctive goods and services with strong potential for success in the local and international marketplace.


A learning center for regional creativity

Chiang Rai, Chonburi, Kamphaeng Phet, Khon Kaen, Mahasarakam, Nakhon Pathom, Nakhon Ratchasima, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phetchaburi, Phitsanulok, Phuket, Songkhla, Ubon Ratchathani

Each miniTCDC offers a smaller version of TCDC’s facilities and services, consisting of a design library with a collection of 250 books that rotates every semester and that provides access to a material database and material samples. Mini-exhibitions and interesting lectures and seminars also circulate among the nationwide network of miniTCDCs. Housed at 13 regional universities, the miniTCDCs allow students, faculty, and local entrepreneurs to access product design and development knowledge without having to travel to Bangkok.
